Lang Sias on Why He’s Running:

“I am running for State Senate out of continued commitment to serve. Like many of you, I am deeply concerned about our state’s financial future and the opportunities that will be available to our children. I’d like to use the experience acquired throughout a 26-year military career as a Navy fighter pilot and in the Air National Guard, and as a lawyer helping small businesses, to help bring prosperity to Colorado families and businesses. I look forward to working together with Senate colleagues from both parties to advance pro-growth, common sense economic policies that will increase Colorado's competitiveness.”

Lang Sias on Government:

"Government should budget just like families do - weighing priorities, making sacrifices, being careful not to load up the credit card, and every step of the way acknowledging it can't always afford everything it wants."

Lang Sias on Growing our Economy:

"I agree with Governor Hickenlooper's stated priority to spur entrepreneurship and bring new businesses to Colorado. I will work with anyone--Republican or Democrat--who is truly dedicated to attracting new businesses, supporting entrepreneurship and expanding opportunities for Colorado families and businesses."

Lang Sias on Energy:

“I support an “all of the above” energy policy that uses every technology and resource available to generate energy that is plentiful, cheap, safe and reliable. Colorado is a national leader in energy production. Smart energy choices will expand Colorado's economy, create good jobs, and help pay for priorities like infrastructure, higher education and K-12 education. Common sense policies will also help free America from dependence on foreign countries."

Lang Sias on Education:

“With two of my children enrolled in Jefferson County Public Schools--and a third soon to follow--I’m committed to supporting great teachers and principals, outstanding schools and involved parents. A quality education is central to our children’s future and Colorado's economic success. In the State Senate I will work with colleagues from both parties for reforms that reward excellence and put our kids first, including increased parental choice and accountability.”
