Helping Colorado Families Prosper

Family - Lang's family's Colorado roots go back to the early 1900s, when his grandfather worked as a miner.  Lang and his wife Rene have lived in Arvada for ten years.  They have three young children -- ages eight, four and two.  Lang's two older kids, a second grader and a preschooler, attend Jeffco Public Schools.

Service - A decorated combat veteran of both Gulf Wars, Lang has served twenty-five years in the active duty and reserve military, including as a Navy fighter pilot and TOPGUN instructor.  Today, Lang serves as a lieutenant colonel in the Air National Guard.

Career - Lang grew up in an entrepreneurial family, watching his parents build a small business that supported over a dozen familes.  As an attorney, Lang focused on helping launch and grow small technology businesses.  Lang currently works as a pilot for Federal Express.

In the Colorado Senate, I'll work with anyone who's truly committed to helping local families and businesses become properous and secure.  As your Senator, I will work to:

• Create jobs by lowering taxes and eliminating job-killing regulations
• Grow our economy by safely maximizing our vast energy resources
• Make government responsible to citizens, not powerful special interests
• Enact common sense health care reforms to put patients in control
• Focus on our children by supporting outstanding schools, great teachers and involved parents
